Matthias Ebel-Koch

Meet the founder

30 years of passion for software. Now focused on the next generation of intelligent systems.

Matthias Ebel-Koch

“Ever since I developed my first software, one question has fascinated me: How can technology make people’s work easier and genuinely move organizations forward?

That passion led me to found edologic. What motivates me is understanding complex problems and turning them into solutions that work reliably and make a tangible difference in everyday operations.

Over the past three decades, I have worked as a software engineer, architect, technical project lead, consultant and entrepreneur. Technologies have changed repeatedly during that time. What has remained constant is my commitment to building software that remains sustainable and creates real value.

Artificial Intelligence is neither an end in itself nor the reason edologic was founded. It is the next logical evolution of software and software engineering. Today, I help organizations integrate these capabilities into their products, processes and teams in a responsible, productive and sustainable way.”

“Technologies change. Good software still begins with understanding, architecture, responsibility and the determination to solve real problems.”

Why edologic

AI alone does not create value.

Companies rarely need another demonstration. They need someone who can connect business processes, software, architecture, delivery, security and operations. Sustainable value is created at these intersections.

01

Enterprise Experience

Nearly 30 years of software engineering across large systems, digital transformation, cloud platforms, distributed architectures, technical leadership, open source and intelligent systems.

02

From Problem to Production

We combine guidance, architecture, implementation and enablement. This turns strategic decisions into reliable systems without gaps between consulting and delivery.

03

Responsibility in Operation

Technical quality becomes visible in everyday operation: through clear interfaces, transparent decisions, security, maintainability and reliable delivery.

Enterprise Experience

Broad experience. Concrete responsibility.

Matthias Ebel-Koch has worked as a software engineer, architect, project lead, founder, consultant and open source project lead. Leading a project within the Eclipse Foundation further strengthened his experience in open collaboration, governance and professional software delivery. These different perspectives help connect business goals with technical execution — from the first decision through architecture and development to the long-term operation of a system.
